This preventive maintenance schedule describes basic maintenance
for your Rosback finishing equipment that will help keep it in good continuous
operating condition. The recommendations in this schedule is based
on average use and operating conditions. Alter this schedule as required by the
conditions in your facility.

Keep metal surfaces clean, free from dust, and
rust. |
A light coat of SAE 10 oil may be added to the
metal surfaces that do not come in contact with the paper stock. It is a
good idea to cover the perforator when it is not in use to keep dust from
settling in working parts. |

Check condition of sucker cups and crown
retainers at each pocket. |
Replace damaged, cracked, or hardened cups.
Replace bent or deformed crown retainers. |

Verify air flow from each air blast nozzle at
each pocket. |
If air flow is poor or not flowing, use a fine
gauge wire to clean air blast nozzle. |

Clean and lubricate primary and secondary
chains. |
Clean chains with a light coat of SAE 30 oil. |

Clean and lubricate primary and secondary
chains. |
Clean chains with a stiff nylon brush to remove
dirt and paper dust. Re-lubricate using SPRAYON LUBRICANTS #S00708 T.F.E.
DRY LUBE or similar, plastic safe, T.F.E. dry lubricant. |
