This preventive maintenance schedule describes basic maintenance
for your Rosback finishing equipment that will help keep it in good continuous
operating condition. The recommendations in this schedule is based
on average use and operating conditions. Alter this schedule as required by the
conditions in your facility.

Keep metal surfaces clean, free from dust, and
rust. |
A light coat of SAE 30 oil may be added to
metal surfaces that do not come in contact with paper stock. It is a good
idea to cover the perforator when it is not in use to keep dust from
settling in working parts. |

Oil all drive chains and sprockets. |
Apply SAE 30 oil to all drive chains. DO NOT
over lubricate. Wipe away excess oil. |

Oil jogger delivery bushings. |
Apply SAE 30 oil to jogger delivery working
parts on underside. DO NOT over lubricate. Wipe away excess oil. |

Grease upper cutter shaft bearings. |
Apply NLGI #2 multipurpose lithium molybdenum
disulfide grease to upper cutter shaft bearings. |

Clean register table belt. |
Clean with a blanket wash or alcohol based
cleaner. |

Check motor gearbox oil level. |
If necessary, add 600 W Super Cylinder oil thru
the filler plug until it starts coming out the oil level plug. DO NOT overfill. |

Check internal vacuum filters and vacuum valve
assembly, if necessary clean. |
Only necessary with machines running heavily
powdered stock. |
